Terms of Use

Understand the terms that apply when you use Skyline Retirement.

These Terms of Use describe the general rules that apply when you access Skyline Retirement websites, educational content, AI-assisted experiences, retirement analyses and related services.

In Plain Language

The most important points.

Education

Skyline helps you understand.

Content, AI explanations and analyses are generally intended for education, contextualization and decision support.

Professional Advice

Skyline does not replace individualized judgment.

Financial, investment, tax, legal and other professional decisions may require a qualified professional who understands your specific circumstances.

Your Responsibility

Use the information thoughtfully.

You are responsible for deciding whether information is appropriate for your circumstances and for obtaining professional guidance where needed.

1. Acceptance of These Terms

By accessing or using Skyline Retirement's websites, educational resources, tools or related services, you agree to these Terms of Use and any additional terms that may apply to a particular experience.

If you do not agree with these Terms, you should not use the applicable Skyline services.

2. Purpose of Skyline Retirement

Skyline Retirement is designed to help consumers understand retirement questions, explore relevant considerations, access educational analysis, connect related retirement decisions and identify when deeper professional guidance may be useful.

Skyline may provide educational content, software tools, questionnaire-based analyses, AI-assisted explanations, learning resources and pathways to financial professionals.

Skyline's core consumer journey is educational: Question → Understanding → Personalized Analysis → Education → Human Guidance.

3. Skyline Does Not Automatically Provide Individualized Professional Advice

Unless a separate written relationship expressly states otherwise, Skyline Retirement's websites, content, digital tools and educational experiences are not intended to constitute individualized financial, investment, tax, legal or accounting advice.

Educational information cannot account for every fact that may be relevant to your circumstances. Important decisions may require individualized analysis by appropriately qualified professionals.

Your use of Skyline educational content or completion of a Skyline analysis does not, by itself, create a fiduciary, advisory, attorney- client, accountant-client or other professional relationship.

4. Retirement Tools and Analyses

Skyline may provide tools such as the Retirement Checkup, Roth Conversion Analysis, Annuity Analysis and future retirement educational experiences.

These tools may use information you provide to generate educational observations, classifications, contextual information or possible areas for further review.

A result from a Skyline tool should not be interpreted as a guarantee, formal financial plan, individualized recommendation, suitability determination or instruction to enter into a transaction.

For example, the Retirement Checkup produces a Retirement Action Map. It does not represent that Skyline has created a comprehensive financial plan.

5. Skyline AI

Skyline may offer AI-assisted experiences that help explain retirement concepts, answer educational questions, connect related decisions and route consumers toward relevant Skyline resources.

AI systems can make mistakes, omit relevant context or produce information that becomes outdated. You should not rely on an AI response as the sole basis for a significant financial, tax, investment or legal decision.

Skyline AI should not be interpreted as a financial advisor, fiduciary, tax preparer, attorney or autonomous financial-planning system.

6. Accuracy, Completeness and Current Information

Skyline aims to provide useful and accurate retirement education, but no educational platform can guarantee that every statement, analysis or output will always be complete, error-free or appropriate for every circumstance.

Retirement rules can change. Tax brackets, contribution limits, Social Security provisions, Medicare thresholds, required minimum distribution rules and other information may depend on the applicable year or subsequent legal and regulatory developments.

Consumers should verify materially important current information and obtain professional guidance where appropriate before making consequential decisions.

7. Financial Professionals and Advisor Connections

Skyline may provide pathways that allow consumers to request or explore a connection with a financial professional.

A financial professional is separate from Skyline's general educational experience, and any professional relationship should be governed by the applicable agreements, disclosures, regulatory obligations and scope of services associated with that professional.

Skyline should not be interpreted as guaranteeing a professional's services, results, suitability for a particular consumer or future conduct unless expressly stated in applicable documentation.

8. Third-Party Services and Links

Skyline may integrate with or link to third-party websites, software, analysis engines, communications systems, financial professionals or other service providers.

Skyline does not necessarily control those third parties or their content, availability, security, privacy practices or terms.

When you leave Skyline or interact directly with another provider, that provider's terms and policies may apply.

9. Acceptable Use

You agree not to misuse Skyline or interfere with the operation, security or availability of the platform.

Examples of prohibited use may include:

  • Attempting to gain unauthorized access to systems or accounts.
  • Introducing malware, harmful code or automated attacks.
  • Using Skyline for unlawful, fraudulent or abusive activity.
  • Attempting to bypass security or access restrictions.
  • Scraping or harvesting information in a manner that materially disrupts the platform.
  • Impersonating another person or misrepresenting your identity.
  • Using Skyline content in a way that violates applicable law or third-party rights.

10. Intellectual Property

Skyline's websites, branding, educational content, software interfaces, written materials, graphics, analyses and other platform elements may be protected by copyright, trademark or other intellectual property laws.

Unless otherwise permitted, use of Skyline does not grant you ownership of Skyline's intellectual property or a right to reproduce, distribute, modify, sell or commercially exploit protected materials.

11. Disclaimer of Warranties

To the extent permitted by applicable law, Skyline and its services may be provided on an "as available" basis without guarantees that every feature will always be available, uninterrupted, error-free or suitable for every purpose.

Skyline does not guarantee financial outcomes, tax outcomes, investment performance, retirement readiness, advisor results or the accuracy of every third-party service.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, Skyline should not be responsible for losses arising solely from a consumer treating general educational information, automated output or third-party content as a substitute for individualized professional judgment.

Any final limitation of liability should be interpreted subject to applicable law and any separate agreement that governs a specific service or professional relationship.

13. Changes to Skyline or These Terms

Skyline may update its websites, features, tools, content or these Terms as the platform evolves.

When appropriate, updated Terms may include a revised effective date or other notice of material changes.

14. Governing Law and Dispute Terms

The final governing-law, venue and dispute-resolution provisions will depend on Skyline's approved legal entity structure and counsel's recommendations.

15. Contact Skyline

If you have questions about these Terms of Use, contact Skyline Retirement through the general contact experience.

The Important Distinction

Education can improve a decision without making the decision for you.

Skyline is designed to help you understand retirement concepts, identify relevant considerations and recognize when deeper analysis or professional guidance may be useful. Individualized decisions remain dependent on the facts of your situation and, where appropriate, the judgment of qualified professionals.
